Theory:
What is Taekwon-Do:
(Taekwon-Do is the art of self defence founded by the General Choi Hong Hi, a Korean General. Translated literally “Tae” means jumping or flying, to kick or smash with the foot. “Kwon” means the fist, to punch or destroy with the hands or fist. “Do” means art or way, the right way built by the saints and sages in the past.)

Meaning of Chon-ji ( Only for Yellow Tags to learn)
Chon-Ji. Means Literally Heaven and Earth. In the orient it is intepreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history, therefore it is the first pattern learnt by a beginner. The pattern consists of two similar parts, one representing the Heaven and the other the Earth.
Stances
Walking Stance – Gunnun Sogi
The front leg is bent, with the knee over the ankle, while the back leg is straight. The rear foot is turned out approximately 25 degrees.
Weight distribution: 50/50.

Sitting Stance – Annun Sogi
In sitting stance, sine wave is generated by almost straightening the knees, then bending them. Weight distribution is 50/50. There is no obverse or reverse.

Parallel Ready Stance – Narani Junbi Sogi
This is the basic ready stance in Taekwon-Do. Weight distribution is 50/50. sine wave is generated by coming up onto the balls of the feet and dropping the body’s weight.
